Ojos Asi [[private -- nyrax]]

Suigetsu leapt up with a grin. “Yes, let’s get to it again”, he said as he pointed his sword at Karin.

A few days later and they were once again entering another hotel room. Konoha had been hit by a heat wave, making even the nights as high as 120 degrees. Suigetsu looked like he was legitimately dying. Karin found them a hotel room right before he was about to collapse. “AC!”, he said exhausted as he stumbled into their room. “My good, feels so good”, he said while taking deep breaths.

Karin watched his body start to solidify once again. "How do you do that? You can't get hurt, but is it really worth melting like an ice cube?" It was too hot for hr and she was pretty grumpy about it. She didn't like sweating or being hot. Taking one of his bottles of water, she filled it for him with ice cold clear water and gave it back to him. "Here..." She said, getting herself something to drink. She wasn't melting all over the bed they were supposed to sleep in, so she figured it would be a better idea. Walking over to the A/C, she put it up a little higher to cool him down faster, then turned on the ceiling fan to move it around the room better. It was above the bed, so it blew it down all over his back.

“Is it worth it?”, Suigetsu questioned as Karin walked off. “Only one thing in this entire world can hurt me whereas most people would be killed”, he pointed out. “Of course it’s worth it”, he said before Karin walked off. Suigetsu just lay on the bed, continuing to breathe heavily until Karin tossed a water bottle at him, allowing him to take several long drinks. “Thanks, I really needed that actually”, he muttered as he now also felt the fan on his face. He began to reform, his skin taking on a stronger form. He slowly glanced over at Karin. “So, what now?”, he asked.

Karin bit her lip. "I... want you to train me without my glasses on. I'm much better than I was before, and whereas I won't be that great with it at first and I'll be sorta clumsy, it's at least worth trying... right?" She asked, looking over at him. She hated feeling vulnerable around anyone, but especially him. It was worth it though. She'd be able to fight and take care of herself, and it might give her what she'd been craving for some time now.

Suigetsu stopped drinking as he heard Karin speak. She wanted to fight him without her glasses on? That was where she was most vulnerable, than again that probably made the most sense to work on then. Suigetsu finished up his water bottle and motioned with his hand to Karin. “Sure, anything you want if you try to get me some jello or something. Do that and I’ll train all night if you want”, he said before laying back down. In truth he just needed some more cooling down time.

Karin nodded. "You can reform first. I don't want to kill you." She took her sword off and leaned it against the wall, picking his up. She could move it, but wasn't strong enough to really pick it up or anything of that sort. She got up and got him another two bottles of water and left the room. She got him a couple things of Jello to eat and brought them back to him and a giant bag of ice. Putting the giant hard bag on his chest, she smiled at him. "Hey... do you feel any better?" She asked, raising an eyebrow.

“The sentiment is appreciated”, Suigetsu called and gave a thumbs up as Karin left the room. He grabbed onto the two water bottled and quickly drank them down before Karin plopped a giant bag of ice on his chest. He didn’t know where she got it but that was nice! Suigetsu let out a soft sigh and rubbed it across his chest. “Yeah I feel like a million bucks”, he said as he downed the jello within a few moments. He slowly leaned up and placed the bag on the floor. “Right so training with the glasses off right?”

Karin watched him carefully. "Do you feel better?" She asked, arching a brow. She moved a little unevenly and pulled the sword out of the straps and sheath she had it in. Holding it in one hand, she pulled off her glasses, putting them on the bedside table where she'd seen him. Using her knowledge of how long the bed was, she walked over to him and stood there for a moment in front of him. "What first?" She asked, shifting awkwardly. It was clear she didn't like this at all.

“Yeah, I feel better”, he said as he slowly stood up. As Karin drew her sword so did he, feeling the weight of the blade. It was a good thing that they had both held back, his sword was already becoming dull because of the constant strain that Karin’s sword was putting on it. It just didn’t seem right. “What’s the first thing? The same thing that usually begins any sword fight……….block”, he said before quickly slashing out his blade.

Karin moved her sword to block the attack, but almost didn't make it in time. Luckily the katata wasn't as heavy as Suigetsu's actual blade. Otherwise there would be problems... She focused and decided to watch his chakra. The blade would follow through with his movements making it possible for her to lock and counter, but attacking might take a little longer to figure out. Kicking out towards his chakra-a tactic she had continued to use because it worked for her-she made contact with what she guessed was his side but he moved away fairly quickly.

Suigetsu smiled slightly as the attack was fully blocked by Karin’s blade. She seemed to not be having any troubles to start. Suigetsu moved to the side in order to avoid the next blow that she delivered. “Good, a good start”, he said before suddenly dashing forward and attempting to get a foot behind her before pushing forward with his blade. He wanted to see if she could block the sword, or if she’d let herself fall back. He was going hard on her, but that’s how he taught. No one was going to go easy on her in the field of battle after all.

Karin stumbled when he pushed forward but slammed him in the chin with the handle of the blade. That wouldn't hurt him right? She fell backwards onto her butt and kicked him backwards. She could have stabbed him, but didn't want to hurt him, but there was such a small window she didn't want to risk hurting him. "Idiot!" She yelled, kicking him again. Truthfully, she knew it was how he taught, but it didn't change the fact it was annoying.

Suigetsu’s chin almost seemed like it shattered, but it was quick to reform thankfully. He rubbed his jaw, almost as if he had actually felt it that time. Suigetsu smiled as she called him idiot. “Is that what you’re going to tell your opponent before he kills you?”, Suigetsu asked. “What did I say about balance?”, he asked. “Always protect your legs and your vitals”, he reminder her. “Now get up”, he said as he held his blade at the ready.

Karin glared at him. "Yeah... because we both know you would have survived if I had stabbed you." She muttered, standing up, glaring at him nastily. She raised her sword again and pointed it at him. Well, that threw a shit load of work out of the window. Seeing like this bothered her. It was just blackness and chakra. It was much easier to focus this way, which is how she tracked, but it gave her the disadvantage of not seeing her surroundings. She had to keep switching back and forth, but made sure to focus intently on Suigetsu's chakra. It was sorta hard to miss in retrospect. She'd grown so used to it that it didn't bother her anymore and she was starting to actually like being around it. Swinging her sword towards his body, she was trying to hit him in irritation, wanting to cut a small part of his body to prove a point. However she wasn't out for blood. Just a small cut would please her.

Suigetsu just grinned. Karin wasn’t one to enjoy fighting or causing pain, so giving her a weapon that could actually kill suigetsu was the best thing to perform tests with. It meant that Suigetsu really had to block, but if Karin could give a killing blow she would have to be held back, otherwise she lost the guy she was escorting to do the job. Suigetsu never realized who close Konoha really was until now. He gave a small smile as Karin lashed out at him. However, Suigetsu decided to change tactics, quickly switching which hand he was holding his sword in to throw Karin off. She could sense chakra, not where the sword was though. He lifted it up and blocked her attack right before the tip reached him. “Not a bad attempt”

His chakra moved, like his arm throwing something. Her eyes narrowed and her regular vision saw a change of silver and she noticed the change. Ugh! He was such a jerk. Ducking, she kicked at his legs again, using all of her strength to do so. Swinging her sword upwards, she felt it made contact with something. Looking up she squinted, trying to see something. Not that it worked or helped her any. It seemed that she'd hit his shoulder, just missing his face.

Suigetsu was once again impressed that Karin had caught the change, even with her horrible vision. However, he let his guard down too quickly in his happiness. “GAH!”, he shouted as he felt blood once again sliding down his arm. He looked at it for a minute before slowly turning his gaze to Karin. She wasn’t supposed to actually cut him. He quickly gripped the handle of the katana with both hands and swung, wanting to see how she handled a swing from both arms.

Karin smiled at him, showing that she'd cut him intentionally. Even though she wasn't supposed to, she knew that he'd be fine. It wasn't like she badly injured him or that her intention was to kill him. His lesser chakra came together, meaning his hands were side by side rather than on his shoulder. That meant they were holding... her hands flew upwards to block the attack, but wasn't sure how well she'd do. The way she was standing made it impossible to kick without falling and she was using both her hands to block the attack. Pushing forward on the blade, one hand on the blade and the other holding the handle, she tried to push him back.

Suigetsu just smiled once again as Karin was able to tell that his hands had come together it seemed. She was putting more strength into blocking with her sword. She had come far for just a few days time admittedly. As she tried to push back he just held his ground. Suigetsu was still much more physically strong than she was. Having her push back against the sword just caused him to walk further, applying more strength into the blade. “Afraid that isn’t going to work Karin”

Admittedly, she knew that pushing wasn't going to work, but it was at least worth the attempt. "Yeah I know." His pushing her back changed the position of her legs so she had more control and was able to better stand up to him. Pushing hard on his arms, she dropped below the sword, slid between his legs and punched him in the face when he turned around. Stabbing him would have killed him, and it had been quite a while since she'd actually punched him.

Karin had definitely learned the element of surprise. HE was amazed that she could actually coordinate herself to slide between his legs when she couldn’t even see. She had come a long way. He turned around and immediately took a punch to the face, causing it to break once again. He quickly retaliated, sending a punch right into Karin’s shoulder to knock her back away from him.

Karin's arm dropped when he punched her, blade hitting the ground and scratching it as she slammed into something that wasn't a wall. It almost felt like a table. It slammed into her back just above her butt, numbing her legs for a minute. "Ow..." She dropped her sword and picked up her glasses, which luckily she hadn't broken. "What was that for!?" She yelled, holding her back which she was sure would bruise from the impact. He was after all much stronger than she was.

Suigetsu just grinned as Karin’s entire stance was completely ruined from that one punch. “I still got it”, he said with a grin as Karin slammed into the table before quickly putting on her glasses. “Oh that’s right……you’ve actually never felt one of my punches before have you?”, he asked with a smile once his head finally and fully reformed. “Well it seems like you didn’t expect that surprise”, he added with a smile as she shouted at him. “And now you’re disarmed and hurt. And by the way don’t complain about a punch. I could’ve given you a cut to match mine, be happy that I didn’t”, he added with a grin.

Karin darted forward and punched him again, kicking him in the stomach. Lashing out was the only defense she had before this, and now that she had trained for a while, she was much stronger and had much more coordinated blows. He was such a jerk sometimes. Maybe this would be a good time to practice physical fights in the case of the loss of a sword?

Suigetsu watched as Karin charged forward, aiming to kick him in the stomach. This of course once again caused him to fall apart. That was seriously starting to get annoying. As he fell though he grabbed Karin’s leg in an attempt to pull her down with him. She wanted to fight? Well she was going to get one hell of a fight now wasn’t she?
