Fighting Style: Generally focuses on basic support ninjutsu and fast taijutsu and kenjutsu attacks, using her hidden Byakugan to give her an edge. She will fall back into the Gentle Fist style as a last resort, as she generally doesn't want to reveal to an enemy that she has an implanted Byakugan unless she needs to. In spite of her unwillingness to freely use the Gentle Fist, however, it is actually her most skilled way of fighting.

History

Yuri suffered a horrific training injury as an academy student that took her left eye. She later fell into depression, afraid that she would never become a shinobi like her parents with only one eye, so her father sought a way to change that. After killing a Hyuuga from Konoha, he took one of the shinobi's eyes and had a medical-nin implant it in Yuri, to replace her missing eye. Now, Yuri is a better shinobi than ever with the advantages that the Byakugan gives her, though she continues to wear an eye patch to keep it a surprise to her opponents. Her father even had a hunter-nin pull out the Hyuuga's secrets from the corpse so that she could learn the Gentle Fist style of fighting, to fully utilize her Byakugan.
