Sorincha is the only one of the Ukime to officially change her name before being possessed instead of after. When she made an attempt to break into the business of music the name was deemed awkward and unfitting for her new role and so she took the name Sorincha over Ukime.
She held several important roles over her life more than one hundred years ago. She became a famous pop star known the world over for her incredible voice and lively spirit while also being a fearsome kunoichi of Amegakure and jinchuriki to the nine tailed fox, Kurama. She also had complete mastery of the boil release element before everything she had came to an end.
Ultimately unable to resist Ukime’s will, Sorincha locked the nine tailed fox deep within through the use of an unbreakable seal, intent on never allowing a bijuu’s power to be corrupted by such evil. For her transgression, Ukime locked the girl away in a prison removed entirely from the world, time and space.
Having been given a large share of Ukime’s power before she was imprisoned, Sorincha is not only unable to age, but also impervious to all forms of damage. She’s capable of transforming her entire body into her native boil element, becoming a cloud of corrosive gas unaffected by conventional weaponry. She is, in all senses of the word, immortal. The cold, however, can severely hinder her ability to transfer from solid to gaseous form and is her only true weakness.
