Stealing Souls (Ny)

Yojimbo jumped, sailing over the rock he aimed down first at where Setsou was when he threw the rock then at where he was now. "Tricky." He scoffed before unleashing death from above, another volley of bream beams, these seemed weaker, and gave off less light than those he'd been firing before.

The Captain would scoff at his own weakness, his Shikai was weakened after such a powerful blast. Though there wasn't much he could do about it now. Maybe if Setsou got closer than he was he would be able to make the gun more ineffective? That wasn't true, but maybe Yojimbo could lure him, in...

Yojimbo landed on the far side of where Setsou had ended up, and pulled the trigger. The gun made a sound but nothing came out. "Damn." It was an opening.

"Damn it," Setsou said as he saw that his ploy was not going to work. Yojimbo was smarter than Setsou was giving him credit for. Setsou was going to just have to go all out, both their lives were on the line after all.

After dodging the weaker blasts, Setsou saw the opening that he was presented. He needed to take it. Setsou ran towards Yojimbo and leapt in to the air, yelling as he charged up his shikai. He was aiming to fall down on the ground where Yojimbo was. He was bringing his gauntlets down so that they would land upon the captain.

This wasn't the real attack though. Setsou planned on releasing a shockwave in all directions once he landed, so that even if Yojimbo was nearby he would be injured by the attack....hopefully fatally.

As Setsou was committed to his Attack Yojimbo spun and quickly countered, pulling something off his beam rifle with his open hand, it emitted a long pink blade, that seemed as hot as fire, the blade caught Setsou's gauntlets, letting his shockwave out into the blade itself extinguishing with the force of the blast, though it was obvious that the attacks colliding had diminished either, however the energy in both caused an explosion. A MASSIVE EXPLOSION.

Much to Yojimbo's mixed emotions, Fury that his attack did not damage the upstarts weapon, and reassurance, that even though both were sent flying, they had both survived, however much he hated Setsou, he loved himself even more.

Pushing himself to his feet and reigniting his weapon Yojimbo spat, it was blood, he could taste blood in his mouth, and knew that the shockwave had gotten through, but Setsou's hands would also be burning, from touching pure plasma.

Raising his rifle Yojimbo cursed, his weapon was damaged, the barrel partially melted from being struck by dispersing plasma, and his clothes too. Damn. The only thing that seemed undamaged on his end was the Beam Saber.

Well then he might need to switch up to Bankai if Setsou was in no worse shape than him, but to be forced to Bankai by a mere third seat he would be a disgrace.

Kaito rubbed his eyebrows. Yep they were still there.

Setsou was holding back yells as he felt the burns within his gauntlets. They hurt his arms, something he hadn't been hoping for. That was mainly how he fought, so now that they were hurt he was going to have to make sure every attack really count or else Yojimbo was just going to weaken him down slowly. Setsou couldn't let that happens, so he took a moment to catch his breath.

"So far, not that impressed," Setsou said as he stood up and made it look like he was fine. The burns were under the gauntlets so no one could see them at least. "A Captain and yet it's taken you this long to do any real damage. Everyone's already starting to see that I'm right. If this is your performance that makes you a sad sack of shit," he said coldly as his eyes never left the man that he had always hated.

"I cannot wait to put you in to the ground once and for all."

"The only thing that ends here is you." Yojimbo countered, "This is a mark of your desperation, you are a little nothing." He could tell that Setsou was hurting there was no way that he couldn't be hurt now. He was blustering trying to overplay his toughness. "You're hopeless, all out of abilities to call on. So far I've neutralized everyone of your shockwaves."

Reigniting his weapon he pointed the blade at Setsou. "Bring it you phoney! You're all talk. You've not even begun to see my true power."

"You never could see the whole picture. It's why you're such a terrible captain, and an even worse shinigami. We'll be so much better off without you," Setsou said as he slowly put his hands together as if he was about to pray and dropped to one knee. "And I shall prove to you that you don't even understand the power of those around you."

"Bankai"

Much like before, the armor stretched and formed around him along with his sword reappearing on his back as he now stood up fully. The armored shinigami narrowed his eyes as he looked towards Yojimbo. His arms still hurt, but it was nothing compared to the power that the felt he had now.

"Fall in to Oblivion Yojimbo," Setsou said before slashing his sword in to the air and releasing a more powerful shockwave than before towards the Captain.

Yojimbo brought his sword up to shield himself, but unlike before, he was sent flying by the sheer power of the shockwave. Sending the Captain's body skidding across the ground like a ragdoll the sword's haft in two in front of him, the rifle now in broken pieces around him.

"Pathetic." He groaned, perhaps at himself, perhaps inviting a reply from Setsou. Perhaps not.

Slowly Yojimbo pushed his way to his feet, "Do you know who the FUCK I AM!?" He shouted holding a piece of the shattered rifle in one hand, and a piece of the broken sword. "I'm a fucking Captain! I earned that position! I WILL end you!"

With that the Captain brought the pieces over his head. "BANKAI!" He shouted, the sound seemed to echo as a light surrounded him. Dust was kicked up, and debris sent all around, Kaito managed to catch a piece intended for Naoki.

As the light faded, there on his body was a mechanical harness, from his back flew four pairs of mechanical wings, along his back were two long folded objects, upon his hips were two of the beam sabers. And in his hands were two of the Rifles. His eyes were shrouded in a visor, his footwear was replaced by boots visible through his ripped shihakusho, The primary color of the new equipment was gold with the rifles being black, and the eye piece of the visor being green.

The blood had been wiped away by the force of the Bankai. "Now become a thing of the Past!" With that he raised his rifles and fired, two powerful Gold Beams!

"Damn" was all Setsou said as he saw that his attack had not cut the man in two as he had been hoping. HE barely had any time to train with the Bankai after he unlocked it. He had to just take the time and rest just so he could use it again. He wasn't used to the power, but he was quickly going to have to prove he could use it before Yojimbo unleashed his full power against Setsou.

As the golden beams came towards Setsou, he quickly activated shockwaves beneath his feet which sent him flying in to the air. Once up there another shockwave pushed him forward, aiming to slam his sword down on to Yojimbo with all the power behind the unleashed shockwave. Yojimbo was a ranged fighter, clearly showing how cowardly he was. If Setsou wanted a chance, he was gonna have to force him in to as much of a fight at close range as possible.

Yojimbo jumped as Setsou came down, flying by him in a diagonal pattern, thrusters on the bottom of his feet and back propelling him. Turning he fired two bursts of blue beams at, ten in all, these beams would follow his attacker for three turns, each would wait for a dodge before correcting their path to catch them, or if it would hit the ground first they would dodge to try and take him at opposite angles.

"Lets see you squirm!" The Captain called charging the rifles preparing a much larger spray of green beams to shoot at Setsou.

"You first!" Setsou yelled as he saw the beams that were coming for him. Damn, Setsou could sense that they were much stronger then the ones from before. The Bankai had clearly enhanced the abilities of the shikai, much as Setsou's did. He was going to have to make sure more of his attacks landed if he was going to win this fight. Yojimbo was a strong adversary and very mobile, Setsou would have to learn to adapt.

Setsou tried dodging a few attacks, but several managed to snag him. Nothing too permanent, but it definitely hurt like hell. After dodging the rest Setsou turned towards Joyimbo and decided to changed his strategy. He fired a shockwave forward, wanting to see where Yojimbo dodged towards. Once the Captain began moving though, Setsou would fire a much stronger and faster shockwave in the direction of his dodge, hoping the two would collide.
