Rose started moving away from the blast with the others, keeping in stride with Neal and Jordan. She did, however, make attempts at getting a better look to see exactly what was going on. It wasn't everyday that you witnessed a terrorist attack, after all, right? Also, while she didn't know it at the time, the building that had been attacked was City Hall, a rather important government building in the city. As people ran and screamed, she only grew more curious, until eventually she double backed away from Neal and Jordan, moving around a souvenir kiosk, and climbing up onto a low stone wall to get a better view.

That's when she saw him. Though he was dressed up in some weird body armor, there was no mistaking that familiar face. Instantly, her heart skipped a beat, excitement running through her. "Daddy!" she called out, now off and running toward the burning building. He was there to help, he had to be! Somehow, he'd gotten away from the people who captured him, and then found himself here in the big city just in time to stop some terrorists! He was a hero, after all, at least in her eyes.

"Daddy!" she called again, this time reaching him and throwing her arms around him. "You're okay! You're really okay... I knew you would be!" She never got a response out of him, at least not a verbal one. The next thing she realized, a sharp blow exploded across her skull, sending her tumbling backwards to the ground, bleeding from a large cut. Dazed and confused, Rose blinked and glanced up at her father, who was now pointing a shotgun straight at her face. "D...daddy?"

This was clearly a problem, although it took him a moment to figure out where exactly they were, Clint began to realize the area that they were in. The building attack, and nearly completely destroyed, was in fact City Hall. Damn, maybe this really was some form of a terrorist attack. It was either that or this was one hell of a political statement or protect of some kind. Either way, it really needed to be called in. Clint quickly pulled out his phone before dialing his number at the police station. He began to report on the situation, wanting to get several cops here as soon as he could.

Neal had continued to back up, holding his sister's hand as they did so. His father wanted to protect them, but Jordan was scared. She had never seen anything like this before. She didn't know how to deal with it. The only thing that Neal could do was hold her hand, and let her know that she wasn't alone. He had been so caught up with taking care of Jordan, that he didn't see Rose running towards the building. "Rose! What are you doing!?" he shouted before running after her. Jordan would have to stay with their dad, he had to make sure that Rose was okay.

As Neal got closer though, he quickly saw that things weren't okay. "Mr. Wilson?" Neal asked in surprise. His eyes went from the man's face to the gun that was held in his hand. "Why are you pointing that gun at Rose?" Neal asked in complete shock. Had Rose's father attacked City Hall? Why wasn't he say anything? Also, just what in the world was he wearing anyway?

Clint had realized that not only had Rose run up, but so had his son. This wasn't a situation that he could avoid anymore. Clint ran up and stepped in front of his son. He recognized the face of his old next door neighbor, and like the others he was completely stunned by what was going on. "Mr. Wilson.........put that gun down now," Clint said in a calm voice. "That's your daughter you are pointing that at. Come on, we can just all go home from this. I don't know what you're doing, but I can promise you that you don't want to hurt Rose," Clint said as he looked right at the man. The man was nervous though, he wanted the gun to turn away from Rose. However, if the man turned the gun on Clint himself, there wasn't anything Clint would be able to do. He didn't have his weapon and he wasn't wearing body armor.

The next few seconds would be crucial.

Time seemed to freeze as Rose stared up at the barrel of the gun. Her heart lurched up into her throat, while her life flashed before her eyes. Something was terribly, terribly wrong. Her father would never hurt her. He wasn't a bad person. And yet he was pointing his gun at her, and she could swear that she sensed his finger beginning to squeeze the trigger. Try as she might to move, her body was paralyzed with fear and confusion. Fortunately, the shot never went off, as a woman's voice rose up over the mayhem.

"Nug eltnamisd!" the voice called, an incomprehensible phrase. However, the gun that Slade was holding instantly fell to pieces, as if ripped apart by some invisible force.

Then, another sound came, but it was no voice. At least... it couldn't be a voice. It was too shrill and loud. Just listening to it made Rose's eardrums want to burst, though fortunately they didn't. Whatever the source of this noise, it seemed to be directed not at her, but at her father. The air rippled as the massive soundwave burst forward and struck Slade, not only disorienting him but also throwing him back through the air. is ears were already starting to bleed.

And that's when Rose saw them, two women standing just a short distance away. Apparently, they were part of this fishnet brigade, because they were both wearing fishnet leggings and no pants as a part of their outfit, with one of them dressed like a stage magician. Rose recognized them, though, she'd seen them before on TV. It was Zatanna and Black Canary of the Justice League.

Clint was breathing heavily. As much as he hated to admit it, this wasn't entirely a new situation to him. He wasn't sure what was going on, but until he received some additional information he was going to have to treat Slade like any other crazed gunmen. This of course would be much easier if Clint actually had some form of a weapon to defend himself with. At the time being it seemed like there was nothing he could do for Rose other than try to get Slade to point the gun away from her.

Thankfully, someone else decided to intervene. The gun broke itself apart as if through magic (or REALLY faulty craftsmanship) and within just a moment Slade was sent flying back as the air was filled with a crazy noise. Clint glanced over once, seeing two faces that he recognized from the news. The Justice League was here? How did they respond so quickly? He didn't have any time to ask though, he needed to act. Slade wasn't going to stay down forever. He quickly sprinted forward before going and picking Rose up from where she was. "Come on Rose," he said before turning and running back towards where Neal was standing. They needed to get further away from Slade, there was no telling what else he might be willing to do.

Neal's eyes had fallen upon the magician and.......other woman as well. He recognized them from the news, they were part of the League that he and the other boys from school would talk about. There was even the magician that he and Rose had been talking about last week. Despite their sudden appearance and use of their powers, Neal was suddenly pulled away from it as he saw his dad running back towards him with Rose in hand. He quickly looked back to the two woman. "Thank you, we have no idea what he's doing. He just showed up and started.............doing this," Neal yelled over to them.

He was just glad they showed up when they did. At least Rose was safe from her own father now.

Rose could barely move when Clint tried to urge her. She just sort of sat there staring for a minute, eyes blinking. Eventually, she managed to stand up and start following him, but she constantly looked back over her shoulder at her father, who was beginning to get up again. She didn't want to leave him... and yet at the same time, what else was she supposed to do? Something was causing him to do this, she knew it. There was no way he would ever do something like this on purpose.. he was a good man. Wasn't he?

"Just be glad we were across the street doing an interview at the local news station," Zatanna said, motioning to the big building behind them. Quite a convenience, yes, but one that saved Rose's life!

"Get the civilians to safety, Z," Canary said, rushing forward to the recovering man. "I got this one!" As far as she knew, this was just your average gun wielding psychopath, and with her level of skill, he would be easy to put down. Unfortunately, she was about to find out how wrong she was.

"D-don't hurt him!" Rose called, frantically. "He's my dad!"

But she never really got a chance to hurt him. Slade had already been one of the best before, but now... well, now even the famed Black Canary could keep up with him in hand to hand, as he quickly beat her back and kicked her to the ground, then drawing a pair of automatic pistols. Blinking, she stared up at him in surprise.

"Oookay, plan B," she muttered, taking in a deep breath. At such a close range, she'd have to really hold back in order to keep from blowing his head off. One third capacity should do it. Exhaling in a loud yell, her canary cry blasted straight into Slade, sending him tumbling back again and holding his ears in pain.

During all of this, Zatanna was giving Neal a lot of strange looks, while trying to get them all to a safe location.

"Wow, that is pretty good timing. Lucky us I guess," Neal said to himself as the magician revealed that they had only been a block away when the attack had taken place. No wonder it only took them like fifteen seconds to get here. They were just going to have to count themselves lucky today apparently.

As Canary went to go fight Slade, Clint could hear the worry that was in Rose's voice. She was still worried for her father's safety, and he could understand why. She finally had her proof that he was alive, and yet his first action was to go blow up a building and point a shotgun right in to his daughter's face. She was probably completely torn about everything that was going on around her. Clint just wished that he had some answers to give her.

"Don't worry Rose, they're the good guys. They aren't going to kill him," Clint said reassuringly. He had seen the crimes and criminals that they stopped on television, hell sometimes he had spoken with people that had seen them in person. Every time they went to work it seemed like they were able to accomplish a great deal of good. He wasn't sure about the rest of the police force, but until they gave him a reason not to Clint was going to trust them.

As the family moved away, Clint picked Jordan up in his arms to keep moving. Neal and Rose were on foot along with Zatanna, the magician lady. Neal looked over at her since she was escorting them, only to be surprised that she was looking right at him in a strange way. Neal wasn't really sure what to say back. He didn't like the looks, but what was he going to; ask her to stop? Just the more she looked at him, it was like she was looking at a criminal or something. Neal didn't do anything wrong! So why did she keep looking at him?

As Slade began to get back up again, disoriented and with a powerful headache, he reached into one of the pouches at his belt. Black Canary was already up again, readying herself for whatever he had planned. If push came to shove, she'd up the volume of her cry and knock him the hell out. But she wasn't quite prepared for what he pulled out, a small round device with a blinking light. She didn't know what it was, but the way he threw it at her and then turned tail to sprint in the opposite direction didn't bode well. Instinctively, she, too, turned and ran the other way.

"Everyone get back!" she screamed, putting as much distance between herself and the rapidly blinking device. A moment later, the thing exploded in such a monstrous explosion that it rocketed Black Canary airborne across the street, towards the second floor window of the news building.

"Ssalg nrut ot swollip!" Zatanna commanded, causing all the windows of the building to suddenly transform into soft, fluffy pillows. When Black Canary hit, instead of crashing violently through glass, she landed safely and without injury on said pillows. "That was close..." She then went back to staring at Neal.

Rose, on the other hand, was looking towards where the explosion went off, where all that was left behind now was a large, smoking crater. Her dad was nowhere to be seen.

The family continued to move away from the fight as it took place. As much as Rose wanted to see her father, they had to get away before any of them got caught in the crossfire. If Clint had his weapon he would have gladly helped, but as his family was here he had to make sure that they were safe. They were always his priority. He even wanted to make sure that Rose was safe, he was entrusted with her care for the time being after all.

As the explosion took place, Clint nearly lost his balance and braced himself for whatever might come next. He turned to look at the smoldering crater that was left in the wake of the explosion. It was a powerful blast, and clearly one that had done quite a large amount of damage. The magician had saved her friend by somehow turning glass in to pillows. It was an incredible sight to see. Clint also noticed that Slade seemed to escape in the confusion of the blast. "Well at least he's gone from here," he said more to himself than anyone else. He had a feeling that Rose wouldn't be super happy about him disappearing again.

Neal was looking over at Rose, trying to wonder how she must be feeling right now. He couldn't even begin to guess though. Anything that she might be feeling just didn't seem powerful enough in his head. It was like the emotion wasn't strong enough. He gave a small sigh before turning his gaze away. As he moved his head he noticed that Zatanna was looking right at him again. God that was creepy!

"Okay, I don't know why you're doing that and all........but would you mind if you stopped staring right at me?" Neal asked as politely as he could. He didn't want to be rude that someone that had just saved his life, but she was going a bit too far.

Rose dropped to the ground again, just sitting there and bowing her head. Well, a fine day this had turned out to be. She saw her father again, but he apparently didn't want anything to with her, even pointing a gun on her. And he had blown up a building and killed a bunch of people. Why had he done that? It didn't make any sense. Why did this stuff have to keep happening to her? "Daddy..." she muttered, throwing a rock a the ground and watching it skip across the broken sidewalk.

Zatanna, meanwhile, blinked a couple times in surprise as Neal spoke up to her. "Oh, my apologies, I... didn't mean to make you uncomfortable. It's just... something about you. Hold still a second." Reaching forward, she suddenly placed her hand on top of his head, closing her eyes and concentrating. Neal would feel an icy chill beginning to spread through his body. "Laeber ruoy sterces."

Something about him? What was she talking about? Did he look like someone that she knew or something? Regardless of her reasons, did she really have to stare at him so many times? He couldn't see her possibly having a good reason for this at all, and he just wanted it to stop. When she moved to place her hand on his head Neal just stood there. What could he do, say no? She had just saved his life after all. He stood there, although he glanced down at his body as he felt the chill going through him. His arms were even shaking a tiny bit from the cold.

"HEY!" Clint shouted as he suddenly saw what was going on. At first he had been too distracted with the giant hole in the road to the point that he hadn't really been paying attention to Zatanna. As he heard those strange words though he turned around to see her casting a spell while she was touching his son. "What the hell do you think you're doing! He's not hurt at all!" he pointed out. If she wasn't healing him what could she possibly want from him?

"Relax, I'm not hurting him," Zatanna stated, her eyes still closed. "I am simply... exposing his secrets." As if that made it sound any better.

Meanwhile, Black Canary arrived back on scene to approach the family. She knew better tan to interrupt Zatanna when the magician was being all mystical like this, so she ignored her and the boy for now. Instead, she placed her hands on her hips and looked down at Rose. The poor girl looked traumatized. "Hey, you alright?" She held a hand down for Rose to help herself up if she wanted.

Rose looked back up at her, blinking a couple of times, then reached up to grab the woman's hand. "I'm fine..." she said, her expression suddenly growing cross. "But I told you not to hurt my dad!"

And on that note, she suddenly pulled herself upwards in such a fashion that she ended up springing forward and planting her foot right into Black Canary's face. This brief moment of triumph lasted only a moment, however, when Canary quickly twisted Rose around in the air, pulled her arms behind her back, then dropped her to the ground and pinned her there.

"Well that's what I get for dropping my guard..." Black Canary muttered. "Now, are you going to be a good girl?"

"Let me go!" Rose shrieked, squirming beneath the hold.

Exposing secrets? What did she mean by that? Neal had no idea what Zatanna was trying to do, but he wasn't really sure if he wanted it to continue or not. At the same time though she wasn't hurting him, it was just a little cold. The shaking in his arms had even stopped. He wanted to give her the benefit of the doubt, she had just saved his life after all. What point would there be of helping them if she just wanted to hurt them.

"I don't really care what you call it, you should at least ask permission before using your magic on someone like that. And what the hell do you mean by expose his secrets? Neal's a good kid, there's nothing that he's hiding from you," Clint said before glancing over to Canary and Rose. God things were just getting out of hand here! Rose was attacking one of the women that just saved them. Clint might not be happy with what Zatanna was doing, but at least he didn't strike out at her.

Jordan just glanced from Neal to Rose, not having any idea what was going on here. She just gave a tiny sigh and shook her head. Why couldn't people just get along.

"Put her down Canary, give the kid a break. She was just attacked and nearly killed by her own father, the kid's having a bad day," Clint said before looking at Rose. "And Rose, mind yourself. She saved all of our lives and she had no choice but to hurt your father. There's no telling what he would have done had these two not shown up"

"But... he's my dad," Rose insisted, now starting to tear up as Black Canary held her against the ground. The hold eased up a bit, but she didn't attempt to break out, instead beating her fist against the ground. "Why did he do this? Why did he hurt so many people? He's a good person!"

Letting out a long sigh, Canary finally let her go completely. Poor kid didn't need anymore insult to injury, with that crazy psychopath apparently having been her father. These things never tended to end well. "I'm sorry, just... don't hit me again, alright?" Not that Rose would be able to, with Canary now back on guard. "That was a good kick, though... where'd you learn how to do that?"

"From my dad..." Rose muttered.

Meanwhile, Zatanna was finishing up with her little mystical spell thing, whatever she was doing. When she finally pulled her hand away again and opened her eyes, she stared at Neal in surprise. "I don't believe it, I was right. You are one of us."

Clint could only watch with the tiniest of frowns as Rose went through another small breakdown. Poor kid was going through such a hard time. First her mom gets murdered, then her dad disappears and now only shows up to hurt and destroy a building and kill a lot of people. She probably had no idea what to do or think. Her pain had probably only grown as she had no idea what was going on with her father. At least he was alive, perhaps that would bring a tiny bit of comfort to her though. Clint doubted it.

"I'm sorry for the attack," Clint said as he looked over at Black Canary. "She's a really good and smart kid, she's just been going through a really hard time lately as you can probably see by now," Clint explained before he glanced back down at Rose who was tearing up once again. "Her father has been missing for some time, and the first time she finds him he's here and well........you saw the damage," he uttered.

Neal glanced up as Zatanna finally pulled her hand away. She was definitely giving him a different look, but he wasn't sure if this one was better or worse than the ones before. He didn't have long to think of it though before he heard the words come out of her mouth. "I'm.....one of you? What do you mean?" he asked as his mind hadn't fully understood the words.

Jordan was standing near Neal and also waited to hear what Zatanna had to say. Clint was speaking with Black Canary about Rose, and thus had missed the comment altogether.

"I see..." Black Canary said, looking down at Rose again. "Well, I'm very sorry to hear that."

"Whatever," Rose muttered, sitting up again and staring at the ground. "Already lost my mother, why shouldn't I lose my dad too?" Clearly she was thinking just a bit pessimistically at the moment.

Pausing a moment, she glanced up at Clint again and moved close to him. "Both her parents?" she asked, looking concerned.

Back with Zatanna and Neal, the magician woman blinked a moment, then suddenly smacked her forehead. "Oh, duh, you wouldn't have any idea what I'm talking about. When I say us, I mean people like me, people with a close affinity for magic. We're called homo magi." She paused a moment, then glared a little more intently. "And no, that doesn't mean gay magi."

Clint just kept looking down at Rose with that sad expression. Poor kid was just sitting on the ground and staring at it, as if it was her only stable thing in her life. Clint crossed his arms and glanced over at Black Canary as she moved in closer. "Yeah, her mother was killed by a shotgun round right to her chest," he said in a low voice so that Rose wouldn't have to hear it. "Her dad was taken the same night, and no one has seen him until today..........it's really sad," Clint added. "I'm part of the NYPD, Rose and my son were friends so I agreed to watch her for the time being. She has........she has no extended family as far as we can tell. She's got nowhere to go"

Neal just sort of stared as Zatanna revealed that Neal had magic powers. But, that couldn't be right! He had never seen anything that would point to this! He'd never done anything spectacular! "Homo magi.........I'm sorry but there has to be some kind of a mistake," Neal said as he couldn't believe what he was being told. "There's no way that I can be like you"

"You can try not believing it if you want, but it doesn't change anything," Zatanna said, reaching into her coat pocket. She pulled out a deck of cards a moment later, then sifted through it for one card in particular. It was completely blank, except for a small silver square in the center. When she took hold of it, the silver square began to glow bright. "This is a magi detector. It glows whenever someone with magic holds it. For example..." Turning over to Jordan, she held the card out to the girl for a moment. "Hold this for a second." When Jordan held it, the square would stop glowing. Zatanna then took the card back and returned to Neal, giving it to him. When he held it, though, the square would continue to glow.

"You're kidding..." Black Canary uttered, sadly. her eyes moved back towards Rose. "That's... terrible. No other family at all? And nowhere to go?" Well, aside from with Clint's family, of course. Then again, they likely couldn't look after her forever. A single father already would have enough trouble affording a house and two kids on a cop's salary, let alone throwing in another to the mix.

Neal still wasn't full believing everything that was taking place right now. Zatanna, THE Zatanna, was telling him that he could perform magic like her. It was just a bit much to take in after everything that had taken place already. Rose's father showing up and watching a building blow up was apparently all just the prequel to this. It was just so strange. However, he took the card from her and merely stared at it while it glowed. Jordan too just stared, not daring to interrupt the conversation that was taking place. "So.....what does this mean?" Neal asked as he offered the card back to Zatanna. "If I really am magic, what does it mean for me I mean?" he asked curiously. Neal wasn't sure if there was really a protocol for this or not.

Clint glanced back once to see Zatanna holding up a glowing card for Neal and Jordan. She was showing them card tricks, well that was nice of her. She was probably just helping them calm down after everything they saw. He turned back to Black Canary quickly though. "She has nothing I'm afraid," Clint added. "I just see too many kids in the foster program getting messed up or seeing them on the streets about to die..........I didn't want that for her. Not if I could do something about it"

"Well, nothing really," Zatanna said with a small shrug of her shoulders. "That is to say, nothing you don't want. I'm just the messenger, letting you know what kind of person you are. You could learn a whole bunch of stuff, though, if you had the desire. Like the stuff you saw me do today, for instance, and a whole lot more; I sense a lot of magical energy within you. You could use that power to help people, if you wanted. Of course, it's entirely up to you."

"Nothing, huh?" Black Canary said, in a somewhat sad, distant tone. "I know what that's like. Let me talk to her, see what I can do. Some of the League members have... experience dealing with troubled kids. Maybe I can help find a place for her. I mean, if that's alright with you."

Neal thought about it as Zatanna said that nothing was to be expected of him. It was still just so much to take in. Not only did he have "magic", whatever that really meant, but apparently he had a lot of magical energy within him. He had seen what she did today, if he could really be like her than maybe he could help people. He could be like his dad, always going out of his way to help others. It was what Ryan had always wanted. "Can I.......can I have a day or two to think about it? I wanna talk to my dad about it" he said as he looked up at Zatanna.

Clint glanced at Canary as she asked if it was okay to talk to Rose and see if there was anything that they could do. "Well I'm fine if you talk to her, assuming that you two don't go back to fighting again," he said before looking down at Rose. "However, whatever you have to offer is up to Rose to accept. I just want her to be okay"

"Of course," Zatanna said, flipping through her deck of cards again. She stopped at another special card, one that looked like a normal Ace of Clubs, but actually had a different purpose. "Take all the time you need, and if you ever decide you want to learn something, you give me a call." Holding out the seemingly normal card, she explained, "Just hold this card with both hands, close your eyes, and concentrate on my name; I'll hear it."

Black Canary calmly sat down on the sidewalk next to Rose, who was now just blankly watching the police, fire department, and ambulances attempt to clean up the mess that her father had made. For a moment, Canary remained silent, then slowly turned her gaze over to the girl. "Rose, was it?"

Still not speaking, Rose just nodded slowly. She wasn't much in a mood for talking.

"I heard about your... circumstances. I'm sorry, really." Allowing another moment of awkward silence to pass, she continues, "I know what that's like, you know. Losing everything, having nowhere to go. I know how you feel; like the entire world is against you, like you'll never have anything good again... like you just want to curl up into a hole and disappear."

Rose slowly turned to look at the woman, but still didn't say anything. Just the fact that she showed she was now paying attention, though, spoke volumes on its own.

"I also know how angry you are," Black Canary explained. "Not at anything in particular either, just... angry. I was, too, when I was in the same position you're in now. Feeling like there's no place left that you belong, not knowing what to do... If you like, I can help you."

Neal watched as Zatanna produced the card, at first wondering if perhaps a cell phone number was written upon it or something. He looked at it curiously as she gave the instructions. It was hard to believe that just by thinking her name she would be able to hear it. Of course, considering she just turned glass in to pillows Neal probably shouldn't question what this woman was capable of. "Thank you. I mean...if I really AM capable of doing anything near what you can do, then it's something that I'd really like to do," he explained. "But it's just it kinda hit me out of nowhere ya know?" he asked. "Besides, I'm really not sure how my dad will feel about it," he added.

Clint just watched for a moment as Black Canary sat down to talk to Rose. He waited only a moment before turning and starting to walk back to his own kids. Whatever Canary had to say to Rose, it probably wasn't any of his business. Besides, as much as he hated to admit it, his children were a higher priority. He wanted to make sure that his son and daughter were okay. So he walked over towards Neal, Jordan and Zatanna.

Jordan glanced over as she saw her father starting to walk over towards them. She glanced between Zatanna and Neal for a moment, knowing that this probably wasn't the point in the conversation that Clint should jump in on. She quickly ran over to her father, hugging right the moment that she reached him. It wasn't clear to Clint, but to Neal and Zatanna the action was obviously to give them a minute or two more of talking without being interrupted.

"Like I said, take all the time you need," Zatanna declared, putting away her deck of cards now. "There's not really any urgency in the matter, I'm just giving you an opportunity, is all. But, between you and me..." She suddenly leaned in closer, putting a hand in front of her mouth and whispering, "...magic is awesome." Naturally, she would say that, and it wasn't like she was lying, either.

A short few moments later, Black Canary finished her conversation with Rose, who now had a lot of things to consider. When the blonde heroine stood up and gave the girl a pat on the shoulder, Rose finally stood up as well, though she kept her gaze pointed at the ground and hands stuffed in her pockets. Slowly, she walked back over to the others. After giving their goodbyes, the two members of the Justice League went off to assist the clean up screws, helping in whatever way they could.

Without so much as lifting her head, Rose let out a long sigh and asked, "Can we go now?"

Neal appreciated that he wasn't being pressured by this woman. At first he was worried that there would be talk about it being his "duty" or something along those lines. He just wanted to feel free to make his own choice. He wanted to say yes, but he needed to talk to his father. There was no way that he could accept something like this without telling him. Clint and Neal were close after all, and Neal didn't want to risk their relationship being injured in any way. "I'll hopefully see you soon," he added as the woman turned to leave.

At least now she would know what he wanted.

Once the two members of the Justice League left, Clint gathered up his own children before meeting up with Rose after Canary finished speaking to her. "Yeah, we can go home now. I think that we've had enough of the city for a good while," Clint said before beginning to walk back to their own car. He'd take everyone straight home. After what just happened he felt a bit more protective about everyone around him.

Later that night, Rose spent time in Neal's room, mostly just because he was her only friend and she needed someone to talk to for the time being. Of course, for the first half hour she didn't actually say anything, instead throwing a bouncy ball repeatedly against the wall and catching it. Finally, she managed to say something, letting the ball bounce past her and looking at the floor, her long white hair draping around her face like a ghostly veil.

"That Black Canary person... she invited me to go live her," Rose said. "Well, not her... she said there was place where we people like me lived, other young kids in my situation. She said that she helps look after the place with the rest of the League. Some kind of... mentor program I guess."
